Mobile webkit

Developing for the iPhone Safari browser is awesome.  There are so many advanced features that make it easy to implement nice touches that were previously difficult, i.e. rounded corners and drop shadows.  It also provides local storage of data which I haven’t tried yet.  Like this article says every mobile browser should use webkit!

Fever° Red hot. Well read.

I love Shaun Inman’s website stats tracking software called Mint. I’ve never really used a feed reader, but have always wanted to.  I’ve been reluctant because there are a lot of feeds that I would like to follow, but don’t have the time to read all of them.  Shaun Inman’s feed reading software looks great because it will help to bubble up to the top the more interesting articles.  Just might have to give it a try!

“Critically Seeing” Getty Trust Leadership

Very interesting article on the Getty and how their leadership is out of touch with the rest of the organization.  I’m sure many museums can relate to certain aspects of this article.  I did not know most of this about the Getty.

Nancy Proctor, from the Smithsonian, is one of the worlds experts in mobile technology.  I was privileged enough to be invited by her and Jane Burton to speak at the handheld conference that they put on at the Tate Modern.  This is definitely a site to bookmark!
